Reality.

The reality is in less than ten days, Michael and I will be moving into our first apartment together.  We have so much to do and I have no idea where to start.  The last time I moved I barely touched anything because well I was only 5 years old.  I have lived in the same house for 16 years!  I've moved rooms but that was downstairs; not 400 miles south.  

Reality is 

I'M SCARED.

I'M NERVOUS.

&

I'M STRESSING OUT.

How can you not feel all of these things?  Different emotions are okay to feel, they are normal and they are a part of life.

 I'm scared to be away from my family, friends, and the town I've known and grown up in for the past 21 years.  I'm nervous to be a first time mom, to move to a new state, to be a wife, and to take care of our household.

And the main reason I'm stressing out is because I am almost 30 weeks pregnant and nothing is ready for baby E!  We have everything we could ever need but it is packed away in boxes and bins, just like my life is going to be very soon.

Please pray for safe travels and a safe move for our family.

God is our provider and will not give us anything we cannot handle.

We have been very blessed by his love and his power lately, 

we serve an almighty and powerful God.

It's official....

WE ARE MOVING TO FLORIDA!

Michael passed his last test yesterday and took his final PT test this morning and passed both!

We are both very excited to live together and officially start our married life!

He will out process from Ft.Lee two weeks from now and we will be on our way!

FLORIDA HERE WE COME!

28 weeks;12 to go!

It feels just like yesterday that there were two pink lines staring at me, now Michael and are am three months away from meeting our sweet little E!  People can definitely tell that I am expecting now and even though it's nice, it's annoying!  I'm sure all women who have been pregnant before or are experiencing it now can agree that when a random stranger touches your stomach it is well a little awkward!  We had our first baby/home goods shower this past weekend and it went great!  My mom, sisters, and MIL did a great job setting up and getting everything together.  We had a lot of people show up and shower us with tons of gifts!  We are so very blessed!  We have one more this weekend in Wilkesboro and I can't wait!  

The countdown to Florida is on!

Sleep: PAINFUL!

week 27 rain delay & maternity pictures! :)

As usual I am sorry for the delay in posting, but it seriously has not stopped raining ALL week!  Monday was a beautiful day and then I wake up Tuesday and its pouring the rain. I woke up Wednesday and again rain!  Last night they were talking about a snow storm starting today around 3pm....the weather channel is ALWAYS wrong about the snow so I'm not holding my breath!  But when I woke up this morning guess what?!  IT WAS RAINING AGAIN!  Good grief!  I am very thankful for the rain because we need it, but three days in a row! AHHH!   So of course I haven't taken my picture with the chalkboard.  I always take a picture of my belly when it's the start of a new week which for me is Monday, but its just my belly and not my face or anything else.  I hate looking like a slob when I go to take the picture so I am very picky about what I wear when it gets taken and the board can take me as long as an hour to do....yeah I know... But Monday I will be 28 weeks and at the start of the third trimester so I will definitely take one then! :)

Michael and I had our maternity pictures taken by EmilieCarol when he was here during Christmas!  She also did our wonderful engagement pictures that you can see at the top of the page! :)

There were SO many great ones and I have already printed a few to display at the shower this weekend!

26 weeks; 14 to go!

I cannot believe that in two weeks I will be seven months pregnant and entering the third trimester!  There is so much left to do and even though we have 14 weeks left, I still feel like it might never

get done in time!  I am looking forward to the baby/home showers that my mom, sister, MIL, Michael's nana, and his aunt are having for us.  One will be in Asheville and the other in Wilkesboro.  They will be here before I know it and with that will be the realization that we are moving to Florida in less than a month. Hopefully If everything goes as planned we should be there and getting settled in before Valentine's day!  This will be our first one together since we actually started talking on the day after and dating on the 19th!  That means our one year dating anniversary is coming up too!  February is looking to be a good month!  I am so excited!! :)

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: lightly and with pillows stuffed under my legs lol

weeks 24&25!

WELCOME 2013!

The last two weeks were amazing! Sorry for the absence but my husband got to come home for Christmas and we spent every possible minute that we could together :)  I feel so blessed to be able to have such a wonderful husband and I know baby E will have a great dad!  I can't wait until she's here and I can see how he is around her,  I know that he will love her unconditionally just like he does me :) 

I had a doctors appointment the day after Christmas and Michael was able to come with me!  I was so excited and I know he was as well especially since they let us have an ultrasound since he was finally able to be there :)  We are now counting down the days until we move to Florida and into our first place together!  It's going to be an amazing and hard journey but I know that as long as we keep God first in our marriage he will be sure to look after us like he always does!  January is looking like it is going to be a hectic month with two baby/house showers and packing for our move!  I know Michael is ready to get out of VA and I am ready to have him come home every night!

Week 24-Month 6!

How far along? 24 weeks 1 day (CHRISTMAS!)

Total weight gain/loss: a total of 11lbs

Maternity clothes? nothing else fits :/

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: Still getting it but it is getting more and more uncomfortable

Best moment this week: Having my wonderful hubby home!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything? Getting a good nights rest!

Movement: Yes! Morning, noon & night!

Food cravings: Pickles and sweet tea

Week 25!

How far along? 25 weeks (New Year's Eve!)

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: when my hips, legs, and butt isn't hurting!

Best moment this week: Seeing her in another ultrasound and ringing in the new year with Michael!

Have you told family and friends: Yup

Miss Anything? Yes! 

Movement: I love it!

Food cravings: food haha!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Hot wings, and Italian ice :/

Have you started to show yet: mhmm!

Gender: GIRL!

Labor Signs: Not yet and hopefully for awhile!  Hang on for at least 3 months E!
